Grani is the material expression of a production that respects natural flow of times and local raw goods while enhancing their qualities.

All these elements give birth to a social bakery, a place of conviviality, harmony and exchange where everyone may enjoy their time alone or in company for breakfast, a quick lunch break or a happy hour with friends.

We wanted to create a social gathering place made up of relaxing outdoor and indoor corners, with the aim of making you feel welcomed. Here sociality and sustainability come together and reflect our values. Ongoing quality research and respect for the goods (The continuous search for quality and respect for goods), production and packaging are at the basis of our choices.

Grani is an artisan bakery that processes sourdough and ancient Sicilian grain flours. In our bakery we will accompany you on a varied and authentic tasting journey throughout a careful selection of raw materials, respect for tradition and product innovation, where bread making meets pastry.

Happy hour

Conviviality is at the heart of Grani’s vision. A place with a strong sense of aggregation and exchange which is ideal for a genuine and tasty lunch break or an aperitif with friends. Pizzas, pane cunzatu and focaccia will be the protagonists.

Pizzeria

We are passionate about the art of leavening which is the expression of our bread and pizzas production. Come experience our pizza’s offers to enjoy in our shop or to take away: gourmet pizzas, gluten free pizzas and pizza baciata. All made with slow fermentation dough.

Dolceria

Care, patience, respect for times and processes, continuous updates are just some of the features of our leavened desserts. Traditional sweets available all year round are combined with Christmas and Easter sweets: panettone, pandoro and colombe leavened with passion.

Cakes

Sweet and savory, soft and rectangular: our cakes have the flavors of homemade breakfast or delicious aperitif. The offer includes also number-shaped cakes with inimitable scents of childhood and chocolate drops together with ice cream cakes that value our Panettone, our favorite leavened product.

Emanuele has a boundless passion for the art of leavening.He grew up among sacks of flour in the family bakery, the same place where he experimented his first recipes.

In 2009, a comparison of three generations and a strong will to change allowed Emanuele to start a research path aimed at honoring authenticity of local products and the experience also handed down by his family.

Emanuele’s main challenge consists in the rediscovery of everything that stands out in the territory. Mother yeast is the central element of his philosophy together with the selection of raw goods which includes Sicilian ancient grains used to make our breads, biscuits, pizzas and flatbreads. If you are pastries lovers, you won’t find croissants for breakfast. Instead, you may appreciate chocolate sandwiches, cookies and the Sicilian brioche that perfectly matches with our artisanal ice-cream and granita.

His favorite product is Panettone, the highest expression of leavening. Emanuele loves looking at its growing phases, feeling its scent as well as experiencing new tastes. Nowadays, thanks to his sacrifices, passion, experiences and exchanges, Grani has become an experimental lab rooted in tradition and projected into the innovation of tastes, combinations and times while respecting the properties of each and every ingredient.
